Welcome to the Ennis Players

Ennis Players are an amateur theatre group, based in Co. Clare on the west coast of Ireland. The current Group has been in existence since the 1970s and started competing on the Irish Drama Festival circuit in the mid-1980s. They have enjoyed considerable success with their productions at local, national and international level. We welcome all new members and we thank the local community for their continued support.

Dancing at Lughnasa

Ennis Players are delighted with the response to their production of 'Dancing at Lughnasa' by Brian Friel which was directed by Jackie Scanlan, assisted by Allen Flynn which went down a treat with audiences. A standing ovation on their last night was a well deserved reward for their efforts and appreciated by all. Cathy Desmond described the play as 'outstanding' in her blog: http://cathydesmond.blogspot.ie/2013/04/a-heart-warming-dancing-at-lughnasa-by.html?m=1
